An application to the Business Parks of Mauritius (BPML) was made in 2002 to lease one acre of land to provide tertiary level education at the Knowledge Centre in the Cybercity. The lease agreement was signed on the 7 April 2004.
Phase 1 of the construction of a University Campus is now complete with the construction of a 20,000 sq.ft building.
